Terms of Service (“Terms”)

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Terms of Service”) carefully before using the www.ailit.org website (the “Service”) owned by AILIT and operated by Astria Learning (“us”, “we”, “our”, or ”The AILIT-Astria OPM”).

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

Refund Policy

Refunds are granted up to 30 days prior to the start of the event purchased, less a $50 processing fee. Due to the scheduling and planning requirements of our courses, workshops and events, we cannot offer refunds within 30 days before the start date of the event or course.

For less than 30 days of notice before canceling only credit towards future events or courses will be issued. Cancellations within 5 days of the course, workshop or event will not be refunded in any way.

All refunds must be issued to the same credit card or method of payment. If the card or method of payment used is no longer available, a credit towards a future event, course or workshop will be issued.

Responsibility and Liability for In-Person Events, courses, and Travel

By purchasing tickets to one of our events, workshops or courses, and embarking upon his/her travel, you, the traveler, voluntarily assumes all risks involved with such travel, whether expected or unexpected.

The AILIT-Astria OPM, shall not be responsible for any personal injuries, death, property damage, accident, disruption of travel, change of itinerary, irregularity, loss or delay, to you or your travel companions or group members. This includes, but is not limited to, things such as:

Covid-19 or any medical condition associated with Covid-19

Breach of contract or any intentional or careless actions or omissions on part of any supplier or vendor associated with our events, or your travel to and from said events.

Any defect in any means of transportation to or from the event or at the event (if applicable).

Terrorist activities, political or social unrest, labor problems, mechanical or construction difficulties, monetary crises, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, abnormal conditions or developments.

Any other actions, omissions or conditions outside our control.

You are hereby warned of such risks, and advised to obtain appropriate insurance coverage against them, including but not limited to travel medical insurance, lost and damaged baggage insurance, and/or trip cancellation insurance.

Your purchase of tickets to any of our events, workshops or courses shall constitute consent to the above, and an agreement on your part to convey the contents hereto to your travel companions or group members.

-Participant(s) also agree not to hold The AILIT-Astria OPM liable for circumstances beyond its control (e.g., force majeure). Participant(s) acknowledge that the company has not made any representation or promises with respect to any event described herein except as expressly set forth on this website.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

Links To Other Web Sites

Our Service may contain links to third ­party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by The AILIT-Astria OPM.

Our Companies have no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services.

You further acknowledge and agree that The AILIT-Astria OPM and/or its subsidiaries shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third­ party web sites or services that you visit.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.

Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 (change this) days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
